The Meadowlands Environment Center is pleased to offer day camp programs for children who are currently in kindergarten through 5th grade. These programs are not only fun, but the age appropriate, hands-on activities offered will encourage exploration, learning, and discovery to make sure your child is practicing the standards set forth by the NGSS and NJSLA-S. Each day your child will be with two of our experienced environmental educators who will keep your child engaged in science-based activities inside our Science Center as well as outside in DeKorte Park, weather permitting. Daily themes and activities differ each day and what is advertized is subject to change as we monitor the forecast several days prior.
Meadowlands Summer Camp 2025
Times: 10am-1:30pm
Dates: June 23-July 2
Cost: $35 per child

Registration: Opens April 1
There will be one (1) group of 20 children in K-2 and one (1) group of 20 children in 3rd-5th. Children are separated by grade and not age so please ensure that you indicate your child’s current grade.

NOTE: Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain open until any particular day reaches capacity. You will receive an email either confirming your child’s spot in camp or confirming your spot on the waiting list.
Payment: Along with a confirmation, you will receive an invoice for the days your child(ren) will attend. Payment in full must be received no later than June 1. We do not accept credit cards. We accept a check made payable to the Ramapo College Foundation or cash. If paying in cash, please call to arrange a time to come by as our science center is not open to the public.
